Controlled Choas is all about that idea of growing up and losing one's innocence. It was loosely based on my parent's divorce when I was in middle school. Adolescence is a very confusing time in of itself, so to add this to the equation made it even more confusing. I wanted to portray that in these designs. The goal was to have crisp, clean, white fabric that symbolized the innocence of one's youth that would be tarnished with streaks of black paint across the garment.
